The use of polyurethane for welt cord in upholstery applications is strongly discouraged. Even though Burch's polyurethane products are designed to exceed industry abrasion standards, when used with welt cord the exposed material becomes more vulnerable to abrasion and may experience premature de-lamination. Burch Fabrics cannot be held responsible for damage that may occur when used in a welt cord application.
