Detailed Cleaning Instructions

For ordinary oily substances (grease, felt-tip marker, crayon, mascara, chocolate, lotions, oil from body/hair, etc.):

• Remove any excess with a damp cloth. Clean with a mixture of half liquid soap and half water. Rinse with clean water and dry.

For lipstick:

• Apply concentrated cleaners such as Formula 409® or Fantastik® directly to the surface, then wipe with a clean cloth. Rinse with clean water and dry.

For more serious stains (oil-based paints, tar, pitch, blood, urine, feces):

• Wipe surface with a mixture of half ammonia and half water, or a solution of one part bleach and four parts water. Rinse with clean water and dry.

If the above instructions don't produce satisfactory results, try one of the following:

• Apply naphtha (lighter fluid) using a soft cotton cloth and rub the stain in circles 10 times. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and pat dry with another soft cotton cloth.

• Use a mixture of half isopropyl alcohol and half water on a soft cotton cloth and rub the stain in circles 10 times. If the stain persists, use straight alcohol. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and pat dry with another soft cotton cloth.
